Our Story
We have been providing construction management services to builders and sub-contractors for over 10 years. In a typical builder scenario, we would design the house plan, estimate the construction costs and coordinate and purchase the materials and labor. In addition we consult on the overall sales price of the home along with monitoring and overseeing the budget on the job and resolving any discrepancies with cost overruns. These services are offered through our sister company CMS (Construction Management Solutions Inc.)
Over the past several years we have had the opportunity to work with and meet with several home buyers during the planning and construction of their new home. We've also consulted with numerous material suppliers and vendors to learn more about their experiences when dealing with home buyers and home builders. What we realized was "buyers don't really know what they are paying for nor do they understand what it takes to build a home". We also realized that many builders are great at building homes but not all of them do a good job communicating and setting expectations with their customers. So, we decided to start HomeBidders and effectively act as the liaison or project manager between the buyers and the builders.
Buyers can now access years of knowledge and experience and learn what it takes to build a home; before they sign a contract with a builder.
