Step 7: Review Preliminary Budget vs. Initial Project Estimate

Once we have established the Initial Project Estimate,we’ll compare it to the Preliminary Budget from Step 1. We’ll analyze any significant differences and discuss any adjustments that can be made. Re-working the details is important at this point. It is important to resolve any lot, plan, specifications and budget issues prior to requesting bids on your project. Submitting a clear & organized project package to builders is critical. The more detail we provide, the less variance factors builders have to include in their bid.
